First, visit the ENC website by clicking button above. Then to change the name on your electricity bill, click on the “Change” button located on the left side of the ENC website’s homepage.

You will now see three options:

  • Change of Name
  • Change of Tariff
  • Change of Load

Since you wish to change the name on the electricity bill, select the box of “Change of Name.”

Applicant’s Particulars

Now, enter the information related to the application:

  • Reference Number: Enter the 14-digit Reference Number.
  • NIC / CNIC: Enter the applicant’s NIC or CNIC number.
  • Mobile No: Enter the applicant’s mobile number.

Next, scroll down to the section labeled “Only required for the change of name application”.

Here:

  • Current Name: Enter the name of the person currently listed on the LESCO electricity bill.
  • S/O, D/O, W/O, C/O: Select the appropriate option based on the relationship and enter the relevant person’s name.
  • New Name: Enter the name of the person to whom you wish to transfer the connection.

Then, select the appropriate option (S/O, D/O, W/O, or C/O) and enter the corresponding name.

Upload all required documents in the “Attachment” section. Ensure that the size of each required document is less than 300 KB.

Accept Terms and Conditions

After entering all the necessary information and uploading the documents, carefully read the Terms and Conditions. Then tick the “I Agree” box and click the “Submit” button to submit the application. Once the application is successfully submitted, you will be provided with a “Tracking-ID.” Note down and keep this Tracking ID safe as it can be used to track the status of your application.

Important Note: All required documents submitted online must also be compiled into a single file and submitted to the concerned office. Your online application will not be accepted for further processing until this file is submitted to the office.

How to track a LESCO Change of Name application?

Follow the steps below to track an application submitted for a name change with LESCO:

  • Click on the “Track” option on the ENC website’s homepage.
  • Select the “Change of Name/Tariff/Load” option under “Application Type.”
  • Select “LESCO” as the company.
  • Enter your “Tracking-ID” in the provided input field and click the “Submit” button.
  • The “Status of the Application” page will then open that will allow you to view the current status of your application.

After applying for a name change, a challan is usually issued to you within 1 or 2 months. This challan must be paid at any designated bank. Once the payment is made, the connection ownership on the electricity bill is updated to the new name.
