What is Reference Number and Customer ID?

Every LESCO electricity bill contains a 14-digits reference number followed by a letter (U or R). The reference number contains information about the billing batch, subdivision and consumer connection. Customer Services Centers

Customer Service Centers provide assistance in resolving customer problems and queries. Protected Consumers

Those consumers who consume up to 200 units of electricity every month for 6 consecutive months are categorized as Protected Consumers. These consumers get the benefit of relief or subsidy, due to which they are charged lower tariffs than unprotected consumers. Electricity rates for Protected Consumers are given below:

Unprotected Consumers

Consumers whose electricity consumption exceeds 200 units per month are classified as Unprotected Consumers. As electricity consumption increases, the per-unit rate may also increase, resulting in a higher total bill for consumers using more than 200 units.
