LESCO Bill Slabs

Slab system is protecting its low-income consumers with minimal electricity consumption. Under this new pricing structure, consumers can benefit from lower rates by using less electricity. As their electricity consumption increases, electricity rates will also increase. Customers are grouped into Protected and Unprotected customers.

Protected Consumers

Consumers who consistently use 200 units of electricity per month and maintain this level for 6 consecutive months will be designated as protected consumers. These protected consumers benefit from a relief or subsidy, meaning they would be charged a lower tariff compared to the unprotected consumers. The rates for protected consumers are given below:

Unprotected Consumers

Consumers who exceed consumption of 200 units per month are classified as unprotected consumers. These consumers do not receive any of the subsidy or relief, meaning they would be charged higher rate than the protected users. Taxes in LESCO Bill

FPA

FPA stands for Fuel Price Adjustment that appears on your bill, reflecting changes in electricity costs due to fluctuations in fuel prices, for companies generating electricity from crude oil. When fuel prices rise or fall, the cost of electricity increases or decreases and this adjustment is passed to the consumer bill through the FPA Charge.

F.C. surcharge

F.C Surcharge stands for Financing Cost Surcharge. To secure the collection of debt servicing of the Power Holding Private Limited, officials have decided to charge 43 paise per unit.

QTA

QTA stands for Quarterly Tariff Adjustment. You may see this adjustment charge every three months on your bill.

GST

GST stands for General Sales Taxes, calculated based on the cost of electricity. The total amount of your electricity bill includes a 17% GST.

T.R Surcharge

T.R. Surcharge stands for Tariff Rationalization Surcharge, a Tariff difference between NEPRA and GOP. It will be payable by the GOP as a subsidy if the difference is positive. In a negative difference, the distribution company will pay it under the Inter DISCO Tariff Rationalization Surcharge.
