Rain Causes Power Outages in Lahore as 85 LESCO Feeders Trip

When heavy rain started in Lahore today, electricity went out in many areas of the city. According to the Lahore Electric Supply Company, 85 feeders of LESCO tripped due to the rain. 

Ichhra, Mozang Chungi, Mall Road and nearby places are facing power outages and there is no electricity during the weather. Officials said that they will begin working to fix the electricity once the rain stops or slows down. 

They also shared that rain has fallen since yesterday that is making it harder to restore power quickly. Teams are waiting for the weather to clear up so they can safely start repairing the system and bring back electricity.
